NTV Mascot "Nandaro"
~represents our inquisitive mind~
Oscar-winning film director and animator Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli created NTV mascot "Nandaro" in 1993 to commemorate NTV's 40th anniversary. As the Japanese name suggests, "Nandaro" represents utilizing the inquisitive mind to create something in order to make progress in the future. Just as Studio Ghibli films can be enjoyed by the entire family, "Nandaro" encompasses NTV's aim to become a media company that will be familiar to people of all ages.
