One day, five men including Kazuki (Aoi Nakamura) and Sizuya (Gouki Maeda) were admitted to a traditional female senior high school. Mai (Kyoko Fukada) encouraged to them to sign up to join a club which she working as an advisor. They said yes! because she was too cute to be legal. Then they and unpopular female students in the high school, Eri (Riisa Naka), Hitomi (Aki Asakura) start a social dance club.

But, unfortunately the school principal, Mr. Himuro (Shosuke Tanihara), resists the club all the way, because he thinks it is going to lead to illicit sexual relations. But they don’t care about such a thing and they do nothing but practice social dance day in, day out.

This story is about 10 hopeless high school students and their adventure in love and depicts conflict and baffle, good-fellowship and above all"Love people wholeheartedly!"

They found a "precious treasure in life" during their 16-years-old summer. The beautiful teacher initiates the question of adolescence which adults can’t answer to their students .

本剧的舞台是一所有名的私立女子高中－「灯爱女子学园」, 以刚创立的「社交舞部」为背景，描述10位男女学生交织而成的青春爱情故事。深田恭子所饰演的相田舞是同校的校友并赴任已3年的英语教师。受到少子化的影响，该校开始接受男生入学，可是第1期只有5名男生入学。

新入学的5位男生, 在面对全校其它600名女生, 感到非常的好奇。为他们介绍校内情况的老师－相田舞, 向他们说每个学生都要参加课外活动, 并为他们介绍「社交舞部」, 说如果他们加入这项课外活动, 无论他们有什么问题都可以帮他们解决。本来5位男生对加入「社交舞部」是有点抗拒的, 可是听到相田舞老师的劝诱, 便答应加入。

其实相田舞老师这样积极的鼓励他们加入这项课外活动, 主要是因为她觉得最近学生们都缺乏了年青人应有的生气, 她希望藉这个「社交舞部」的活动, 使学生们透过跳舞，解决他们的烦恼和令他们有一个达成目标的使命感。
