A single, career-minded thirty something woman living in the city has dreams of doing more with her life. Sounds familiar?

For Saki Ogiwara (Miho Kanno), who works as an efficient paralegal and barely gets by on her meager hourly wage, her aspiration is to pass the bar exam, which she’s already failed nine times. Her boss tells her to give up her dream of becoming a full-fledged lawyer. Her friend tells her to forget her career and marry her young lawyer boyfriend Masato (Takashi Tsukamoto). After all, she’s “already 32” as people constantly remind her. But Saki just can’t deter from her goal. She’s chosen her path and doesn’t want to let anything interfere.

Is it miserable for me to stay single for the rest of my life? Do I need to force myself to be friends with people whose company I don’t enjoy? Will life become easier if I’m more flexible and “go with the flow?” Plagued by these questions and more, Saki places priority on studying over dating and strives to stay true to herself no matter what anyone says.

32岁的荻原早纪（菅野美穂饰）是法律事务所的律师助理，一心想成为律师，可是连着9次司法考试都已失败告终。虽然她是一个十分能干的律师助理，可是以兼职身份在法律事务所工作的她，仅靠微博的工资维持生计。她已有32岁，周围的人都劝告她， 是时候放弃成为律师的梦想，早一点跟律师男友正登（冢本高史饰）结婚，那就可以过一些安稳和富裕的生活。可是她的信念是誓不放弃，绝对不向现实妥协，绝不为安稳的生活而放弃理想。

难道32岁就一定要结婚吗？到底结婚的意义是什么？ 如果放弃一些执着，多一点随波逐流，那会不会过得比较开心？ 再三思考后，早纪仍认为不要因为别人的看法而改变自己的原则， 坚持成为律师是自己的第一大目标，结婚和别人的想法并不重要。
本剧以轻松、真挚的手法带出了现实社会中每个人要面对的问题，即婚姻、工作、友情等。
