　Foreign ownership of Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV) shares accounted for 19.99% as of March 31, 2005. Details are as follows:

　In accordance with Japanese law, foreign ownership shares must not exceed 20% as that would mean a revocation of the broadcasting license. Therefore, our company reserves the right to deny requests by foreigners to register their name on our list of shareholders, should foreign ownership shares reach its legal limit.
