Cave gets psychedelic makeover

Lighting designers have given a cave in Japan a psychedelic makeover.

A reporter with Japan’s NTV visited the cave for a look.

Makido cave in western Okayama prefecture is seeing an influx of visitors after designers bathed it in colors.

The cave has been used as a location for the filming of famous Japanese movies, and is named after a poem.

The designers outfitted the ancient cave with hi-tech LED lighting.

The theme of the current display is “spring.”

The cave is thought to bring good luck to those in search of romance.

All you have to do is throw a coin into the lake, and wish for your dream to come true.
