Love, that's all it takes.
A story of 6 days with 5 Japanese gathered around a small sparkling pool at Chiang Mai in Thailand.
With the same staff of “Kamome Diner” and “MEGANE” that brought a new wave in Japanese movies, another inspiring film is coming. The new title “POOL” is a story about unique but ordinary people who live their lives the ways they believe.

Introduction :
After leading the two films “Kamome Diner” (2006) and “MEGANE” (2007) to phenomenal hits in Japan, the staff of the titles got together once again to create another inspiring movie, “POOL”.
Original story is written by a popular comic artist Erika Sakurazawa, and Mika Omori, who works for “My Boss, My Hero” (TV drama), “Detroit Metal City” (2008), “KAIJI” (2009) and more as a scriptwriter, has been selected as the director and the scriptwriter for the film. As the main casts, Satomi Kobayashi, Ryo Kase and Masako Motai come back from the previous titles.

The film has a message that “people can develop little by little”.
Anybody can feel and care about people whether they are good at it or not…
