Kumiko Yamaguchi, a rookie teacher nicknamed Yankumi, is appointed to be in charge of a high school class full of troublemakers and punks. Dressed in jerseys and looking dull, Yankumi finds it not so hard to tame the kids --she comes from a yakuza family. Though assiduously hiding her family background in order to keep her teaching career, Yankumi never allows bullying and always helps the weak.
