We would like to express our deepest condolences to all those affected by the Great East Japan
Earthquake. From the bottom of our hearts, we pray for a speedy recovery and for everyone's
health and well-being.

Nippon Television Network Corporation and its 31 affiliates that comprise the "24-Hour Television" Charity Committee have donated a total of 530 million yen from funds collected for the Great East Japan Earthquake Emergency Fund as its second donation effort to the prefectures of Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki and Chiba.

The "24-Hour Television" Charity Committee had donated 300 million yen on March 31, 2011 as its first donation effort to the hardest-hit areas of Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures. As of today, funds totaling 830 million yen have been donated.

We thank everyone for their warm cooperation and generous donations. No administrative costs are deducted from the collected funds and the entire amount will be donated to the disaster areas.

Collected funds now total 844,822,067 yen. When our third donation effort has been decided upon, we will make another announcement.

Thank you for your continued support.
