Nippon Television Network Corporation (Nippon TV) is proud to announce that it was awarded the 41st HBF Award in the Technology division on July 7, 2015.

Nippon TV's Engineering & Technology Division developed a new technology which improves the audio quality of a digital transceiver. When using digital transceivers, usually the audio quality is not very high, because the bandwidth is very narrow and the audio waves are recreated from a vocoder that is preinstalled in the digital transceiver. To address this issue, Nippon TV developed a new technology by using FGPA software, which improves the quality of digital transceivers. This achievement was highly appraised by the HBF.

We believe that our development of this new digital transceiver technology can help many people who use certain types of digital transceivers, which in turn will create more successful business relationships in the TV production industry.
