'Meet Me There' to be adapted in Singapore by Mediacorp's CNA
Nippon TV's unscripted format 'Meet Me There' to be adapted in Singapore by Mediacorp's CNA

Hong Kong FILMART– March 18, 2026 – Nippon TV, Japan's leading multiplatform entertainment powerhouse, has announced that the Singapore version of its unscripted format 'Meet Me There' has been adapted by CNA, the English language news and current affairs brand of Mediacorp, Singapore's national media network and largest content creator. Consisting of 3 episodes, CNA's adaptation of 'Meet Me There' is set to premiere on 21 March.
Originally produced and broadcast by Nippon TV in Japan, 'Meet Me There' is a touching docu-reality format. The show begins with a handwritten note containing just three words, "Meet me there." Without any clues provided, the recipient of the note must find this mysterious location where the sender would be waiting.
As both recipient and sender retrace their shared history - with the recipient visiting places where friendships could have been built or marriage proposals made - memories resurface and emotions run high. Each wrong turn is bittersweet, making the eventual reunion even more moving, and meaningful.
With its universal themes of memory and connection, 'Meet Me There' by CNA will feature pairs of friends, siblings, and family - including a mother and son duo – and looks set to resonate powerfully with audiences locally as it captured hearts in Japan.
"From our very first conversations with CNA, we knew they were the perfect partner to adapt Meet Me There. They have been an incredible, long-standing partner since Singapore's version of 'Old Enough! was developed by Mediacorp, and we are truly delighted to expand our successful relationship with this wonderful new format," said Raku Iizuka, Format Sales, Nippon TV. "The universal emotions of love, timing, and destiny make this story perfect for adaptation and I am confident that the Singaporean version will touch viewers' hearts and even help remind them of their precious relationships."
