The day thousands of Japanese gamers await is less than 24 hours away.

The PlayStation 4, Sony’s first new game console in 7 years, goes on sale in Japan on Saturday. To get their hands on the new system, about 50 feverish fans lined up in front of Sony’s flagship store in Tokyo to get advance sales tickets.

The updated game console has new functions including improved picture quality, and smartphone connectivity, making it easy to play on the go. Gamers can share gameplay videos on the internet with just one button.

The console was released internationally in November. Sales of the PS4 have already broken through 5 million, outselling Microsoft’s Xbox One. Gamer’s in Sony’s homeland will enjoy the new console very soon.
