Sushi restaurant focuses more on foreign tourists with new flagship store in Tokyo

Conveyor belt sushi chain operator Kura Sushi opened a global flagship store in Tokyo's Ginza area on April 25.

S/ Muguchi Takashi, Reporter, Nippon TV / These booths are made based on the image of stalls from the Edo period.

At the stalls, chefs prepare menu items such as sushi and tempura.

The conveyor belt is about 120 meters long, the longest at any Kura Sushi outlet.

This is Kura Sushi's sixth global flagship store offering multilingual support for foreign tourists.

As the restaurant is located in the posh Ginza district, the lowest price for one plate is 150 yen, higher than at other Kura Sushi stores.
