Nissan showroom targets women

Nissan Motors is eyeing women as a key source of new sales.

CEO Carlos Ghosn today launched the first of hundreds of new dealerships targeting women.

The Tokyo shop has a play space for kids while caregivers are viewing cars.

The outlet even has manicure-like containers for car color samples.

Nissan estimates women make 80% of the decisions over which car to buy.

The carmaker intends to open 300 such shops by the end of next year.
