Hanyu's ice show set for March 7-9 in Miyagi to commemorate quake's 15th anniversary

S/ Hanyu Yuzuru, Figure skater / This is a show in which we skate while praying for recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and from the many different natural disasters that occur across the country.
Figure skater and "news every." special messenger Hanyu Yuzuru will perform in his "notte stellata" ice shows in Miyagi Prefecture for three consecutive days starting March 7.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake that devastated northeastern Japan.
Hanyu himself survived the 2011 disaster in Sendai, the prefectural capital of Miyagi.
This is the fourth time he is producing the ice show event, and this year's theme is sending out hope from a disaster-hit area.
Top skaters from Japan and abroad are scheduled to take part.
S/ Hanyu Yuzuru, Figure skater / I hope we skaters can also support one another, transcend nationalities to come together as one, and create shared hope.
