70-kilogram-worth of debris fell from a building in Asakusa on September 17, due to what is believed to be deterioration.

According to Tobu Railway, a passerby reported that a part of the exterior wall had fallen at a building that houses Asakusa Station.

The fallen wall part weighed approximately 70 kilograms. No injuries have been reported.

The railway operator believes the mounting structure on the wall had deteriorated. Tobu Railway conducted an emergency inspection following the incident and confirmed there were no other abnormalities.
