NNN Correspondent / This rural area is close to the venue of the Setouchi Triennale art festival. This old house was supposed to be used as a venue.

The house, which is located in Kagawa Prefecture, is a piece of art made from scrap materials, but it has been abandoned.

The “HIKE! HIKETA - Higashikagawa International Art Festival” was supposed to kick off in Higashikagawa City on August 1. However, it has yet to have started.

The art festival's website states that it is “collaborating” with Kagawa Prefecture. The prefecture claims that there is no such collaboration.

According to the prefecture, they have not been able to contact the organizers since late April of this year.

Higashikagawa City, which was supposed to be the venue, also claimed to have no involvement.
