This footage was filmed by a viewer on September 19 in Kumamoto city, southwestern Japan.

A horse decorated for an upcoming festival was seen running down the middle of a road.

The horse was also caught by a security camera before it made its way to the road.

S/ Witness/ It was going at least 30 kilometers per hour, the speed of a moped. The horse was so big. I was surprised!

According to police, they received a call around 10AM that the festival horse ran away.

The truck’s side-view mirror and other parts were damaged, but no one was injured.

The horse was caught after running around 15 minutes for about 600 meters.
