Asahi Group Holdings has suspended shipments of beer and beverages since September 29 due to a system failure caused by a cyberattack.

The company manually processed orders for beer and other products on October 1.

Shipments are being prepared, but the volume will be significantly lower than normal sales levels. Asahi Group Holdings also announced a delay in the release of beverages and food products originally scheduled for mid-October.

The cause and impact of the system failure are still under investigation. There is no timeline for full restoration.
