Limping PM Ishiba undergoes leg treatment at Tokyo hospital
Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru underwent treatment of his leg at a hospital in Tokyo on August 31.
He spent about an hour at the medical facility.
The previous day, Ishiba visited Miyagi Prefecture in the northeast with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After returning to Tokyo, Ishiba stopped at times while walking, possibly due to pain.
He has been seen limping for more than a month.
In late July, he received medicated plasters from the infirmary at the prime minister's office to treat the condition.
An official said the pain does not seem to be excruciating.
