Strong quake hits northern Japan, with Tsunami warnings issued in Aomori, Iwate and Hokkaido.
Northern Japan was hit by a strong quake on Monday night, an estimated Magnituude 7.6 at the most in Hachinohe City of Aomori Prefecture.
Wide areas were hit by the quake, along with tsunami warnings isseud in Hokkaido as well as Aomori and Iwate Prefecture.
3-meter-high tsunamis were predicted but so far not as high as expected.
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE COASTAL AREAS, TSUNAMIS AND QUAKES ARE LIKELY TO CONTINUE.
