Japan's Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae annouces snap election, to be held on February 8,2026.
At the press conference on January 19, she explained the reason for dissolving the parliament saying "Why now? I want to ask the question to the people.. Is Takaichi good enough for Prime Minister? ". She explained also her policies at the press conference.
