Elderly driver crashes into shop, injures two

A car driven by an elderly man crashed into a shop at popular Tokyo tourist destination Kappabashi Kitchenware Town on November 10, injuring two people.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, a call was made to emergency services at around 4:00PM reporting that a vehicle had crashed into a shop.

The driver of the vehicle, an 86-year-old man, was attempting to turn right onto a road near the shop when he realized it was a no-entry zone.

It is believed that he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the shop, injuring two customers that were inside the premises. 

Both sustained minor injuries.
