The admission ticket price for Tokyo Disney Resort has been set at a record high 12,400 yen, or roughly 77 dollars, for a one-day passport for adults on October 11.

According to operator Oriental Land, the resort uses a variable pricing system in which ticket prices fluctuate depending on the day of the week, season and visitor demand.

Prices have previously ranged from 7,900 yen to 10,900 yen, and this will be the first time the all-time high has been updated since October 2023.

The operator said the decision was made based on factors such as rising labor costs and expenses related to the construction of new facilities.

Oriental Land operates Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo.
