Anime characters from the beloved “Case Closed” Japanese detective series are now recruiting police officers.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department made the recruitment brochure.

The move came after a number of young police officers applied for the job because of the famous “Case Closed” series.

Access to the security police section of the recruitment page has also increased since undercover National Police Agency agent Amuro Tooru made debut in the series.

The MPD hopes the popular anime will spark an interest in the work of police officers.
