Dancing bubbles paralyze traffic
White bubbles started dancing in the street in Shizuoka Prefecture on July 9.
According to police, an electronic retail store employee reported to them that a car hit a sprinkler system in a parking lot, triggering it to spray fire extinguishing agents.
No injuries have been reported, but according to the fire department, the foam contained hazardous substances.
They called on people to gargle if they inhaled the foam and to rinse heavily if any foam got in their eyes.
The incident temporarily caused traffic restrictions around the site and partially closed the store’s parking lot.
