Japanese authorities to "consider all options" in response to weak yen

S/ Suzuki Shunichi, Japanese finance minister: We would like to respond appropriately to excessive movements without eliminating any options.

The Japanese yen temporarily hit 153-levels against the US dollar on April 11, raising intervention risks by the Japanese government.

Depending on the results of the US economic indicators that will be announced in April 11 Japan time, the yen may weaken further.

A market source said that the decision on intervention might be made after the results.
